Funding Routes
Annual Budget
Assists student organizations with any basic operating or upfront expenses critical to the viability of their group at Duke
- One-Time (hearings in mid-March/early April for the following year)
- Submit a request on DukeGroups using the steps detailed here.
- Timeline:
- 2/14 @ 9 AM ET: Application opens
- 3/4 @ 11:59 PM ET: Applications close
- Late March/Early April: Hearings scheduled by invitation
- Late April: Budget for following academic year reviewed, modified, and approved by DSG Senate
- Early May: Return unused funds from 2021-2022 academic year
- Early June: New 2022-2023 funds transferred to student organizations
Programming Fund
Supports the sharing of student organization curiosity, interests, and educational aims directly with the larger Duke undergraduate community
- Rolling (hearings every Tuesday)
- Submit a request on DukeGroups by Sundays at 7 PM ET to be eligible for funding for an event at least a week from the Thursday after the Sunday of submission.
